Timothy C. Bates has practiced law in Kentucky since 1997 and has spent nearly three decades representing individuals and families throughout Eastern Kentucky.
In 2000, Tim became a partner in Slone & Bates, where he practiced for more than two decades. After his longtime law partner retired in 2022, the practice continued as Bates & Slone Attorneys At Law.
Throughout his career, Tim has represented people injured in car wrecks, tractor-trailer crashes and other serious accidents, as well as families who have lost loved ones because of the negligence of others.
His practice is rooted in Eastern Kentucky. From the firm’s office in Hindman, Tim represents clients throughout Knott County, Perry County, Breathitt County, Letcher County, Floyd County, Pike County and surrounding communities.
